How to download kits

When can I download my kit?

If you use a credit card or PayPal:

You will be able to download your kits immediately after checkout.  You can also download your kit(s) later by logging in to <My Account>.  Your download link will remain active for 30 days.

If you use a check, money order or purchase order:

When we receive your payment or purchase order, we will validate your download link and send you an email with instructions on how to download the kit(s) you ordered.  Your download link will remain active for 30 days.

How do I download my kit?

Our media literacy kits are delivered in compressed folders.  After clicking on a “Download now” button, specify a location on your computer where you want to save the folder.  (If you are not given this option, the folder will be downloaded to the default location.)

How do I open my downloaded kit?

The next step depends on your operating system (Windows, Mac, etc.), your browser settings, and/or the compression/decompression software installed on your system.

  • In some configurations, the downloaded folder will automatically decompress.
  • In other configurations, you will have to double-click the folder to decompress it.
  • If this doesn’t work (or you get an error message) try right-clicking on the compressed folder and selecting “Extract” from the pop-up menu.
